Bavarkan (Persian: بوركان, also Romanized as Bavārkān; also known as Barāvkān, Bīravakūn, and Pīr Afghān)[3] is a village in Khvajehei Rural District of Meymand District, Firuzabad County, Fars province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 696 in 165 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 673 people in 179 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 643 people in 193 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
