Chaf and Chamkhaleh (Persian: چاف و چمخاله, also known as Chamkhāleh and Cham Qal‘eh)[3] is a city in the Central District of Langarud County, Gilan province of northwestern Iran. The city is located on the Caspian Sea.

Chaf and Chamkhaleh is a merger of the former villages of Chaf-e Bala, Chaf-e Pain, Chamkhaleh, Galesh Kolam, Hoseynabad-e Chaf, Kamal ol Din Poshteh, Mian Mahalleh-ye Pap Kiadeh, Pain Pap Kiadeh, Palat Kaleh, Pir Poshteh, Radar Kumeh, Soltan Moradi, Tappeh, and Tazehabad-e Chaf.[4]

At the 2011 census, its population was 4,494 in 1,436 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 8,840 people in 3,137 households.[2]
