Hunches in Bunches is a children's book written and illustrated by Theodor Geisel under the pen name Dr. Seuss and published by Random House on October 12, 1982.[1][2] The book uses playful language and rhymes.

Plot

A boy is initially sitting at home with his dog contemplating what to do. He sees a creature called a 'Hunch' with an enormous gloved hand on its head outside his window. It tells him to go outside. However, the boy is soon approached by numerous other Hunches with gloved hats on their heads. Each hunch points out a different possible course of action such as eating pizza, doing homework, or playing videogames. They all contradict each other and eventually, the boy is forced to make up his own mind.
