Moniruzzaman Monir

Moniruzzaman Monir is a Bangladeshi music lyricists. He won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Lyrics three times in 1988, 1989 and 1990. He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2004 by the Government of Bangladesh.[1][2] He has written songs for 196 films.

Career

He made his debut with Abhagi in 1975. He teamed up with Shakib Khan in Abu Sayeed Khan's romance drama Dujon Dujonar in 1999.[3]

Personal life

Monir is married to Fatema Monir.
