Motian (or Mota Jahangir) is a village in Jhelum District, Punjab province, Pakistan.
The predominant caste of Motian are Gujjar Khatana, the village itself being founded by 4 gujjar brothers 2-3 hundred years ago. Motian currently has one Jamia Masjid and one Islamic Education Centre. Most of the land around the village is owned by Ch sayd katana and family.
Motian is surrounded by a few other villages such as Kantrili and is just 7 km (4.3 mi) away from Jhelum city.
