Nisa Afrawasih (born 2004/2005) is an Indonesian right-handed épée fencer. She won a gold medal for Riau in 2021 Pekan Olahraga Nasional.[1]

Early life

Nisa was born in Bengkalis, Riau, as the youngest child and daughter of the three children of Lukman and Nurhaida.[1][2] She had a sister, Megawati, and a brother, Muhammad Fajri, whom both of them are fencing athletes and often participates in national and international championships.[1][2] She has been practicing fencing since elementary school.[2]

2021 Pekan Olahraga Nasional

In 2021, Nisa participated in Pekan Olahraga Nasional representing Riau Province. She along with her team which included Yasmine Nazla and Megawati, her sister, won from the East Kalimantan team with a score of 39–45.[3] Ahmad Sabli, the East Kalimantan coach commenting about the match saying that "in the early minutes the East Kalimantan team was able to keep up with the Riau team's, the points were quite even and the two teams were chasing each other's points. unfortunately in the final minutes the East Kalimantan team lost a lot of points and finally had to give up defeat.[3] His brother also won a gold and silver medal in fencing.[1] She along with Bengkalis athlete who won a gold medal was awarded a bonus by Kasmarni, Bengkalis Regent, with a nominal value of Rp. 100.000.000.[4]
