I'm currently facing the problem, that I want install a eclipse plugin and the PC has no internet access. In more detail: I have installed eclipse c/c++ (Mars) and I want to install the cvs plugin for it. I searched in the internet for the cvs plugin package to install it as local package, but I couldn't find it. In addition to it I installed the plugin on another PC, but this runs on windows and not on linux. And I were not able to copy the package from the windows to the linux installation. Is there a general approach to install eclipse plugins without internet access? Where can I download/find packages which can be installed with the eclipse marketplace?

There is a separate CVS repository available for download on the Eclipse Projects page (org.eclipse.cvs-4.5.1.zip)
To install the downloaded file use 'Help > Install New Software...'. Click the Add button. In the 'Add Repository' dialog click the Archive button and select the zip file. The Install dialog should allow you to install CVS.
