[ERROR] An error occurred while running cordova run android (exit code 1).

I found this post and have already tried to uninstall and reinstall Android Support Repository. Here is my SDK Manager:

I've also added this to my buid.gradle

compile 'com.android.support:appcompat-v7:23.1.1'
compile 'com.android.support:recyclerview-v7:23.1.1'

Has anyone encountered this before? What is the fix?

I'm having the same issue. Looks like the download link might be broken/down?

See the report: https://crosswalk-project.org/jira/browse/XWALK-7553

Thanks this is very useful. Glad to see I'm not the only one with the problem. – MatTaNg Sep 04 '17 at 01:04
  • Is there nothing that can be done to get around this issue? – MatTaNg Sep 04 '17 at 23:26
  • I just removed the plugin `ionic cordova plugin rm cordova-plugin-crosswalk-webview` as I've read it's only important for older versions of Android. If you need crosswalk for your project looks like people have posted some workarounds in the issue tracker I posted above. – mpkasp Sep 05 '17 at 19:19
  • Thanks, it looks like the ionic team resolved this issue. – MatTaNg Sep 07 '17 at 22:20
