Google +1 Button for Google social web users, publishers and e-commerce

The Google+1 button is a key component of Google social. It facilitates bookmarking and social sharing on both Google and non-Google owned websites. When a user clicks the +1 button, it increments the number of +1's for that particular URL that it points to.

Upon +1, Google will also display a dialog allowing the user to share comments along with the link.

After a +1 has been made, the user has the option to remove their +1 by clicking on the same icon (appearance changed to indicate previously +1'd).

For developers, they have additional documentation on features that may be useful to the more advanced consumers of the Google +1 button.
