I have been working on a randomly generated maze game with enemies that move through the maze toward the player. However, I am having the issue of the player being able to move through the walls of the maze, the problem I have is that the walls of the maze aren't sprites and therefore cannot use sprite collide, or Rect collide. Is there another way I can stop the player from moving through the walls? The only option I can think of is to get the position of each wall used and prevent the player from moving into that value of x or y. Below is the visual representation of what I want to occur:
